Matt Dikeman, DVM, ABVP

Dr. Matt Dikeman is a graduate of Texas A&M University in 1968 and the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1969. He acquired his A.B.V.P specialty in 1980. He began his career with Brittmoore Animal Hospital in 1970. He and his wife, Sarah, were raised in Spring Branch and returned to the area after graduation. He is a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Over the years, Dr. Dikeman has become known within the community as the "friendly country doctor in the big city". He has also become known as the "bulldog doctor" as he has treated and/or performed corrective surgery on numerous congenital bulldog conditions. Dr. Dikeman is also certified through the University of Pennsylvania Hip Improvement Program (PennHIP).
Matt and his wife Sarah have two children, Neal and Rebecca, and four granddaughters. Neal and his wife live in Houston with their daughters, Gwendolyn and Clara. Daughter Rebecca and her husband Mark are both veterinarians in Tennessee. They have two daughters, Kaitlyn and Madelynn. Matt enjoys his two cats and his weekly trip to the ranch in Roberson County with his dog, Sandy, to tend to the cattle.
