Sharon Gunter, DVM

Dr. Sharon Gunter was born and raised in Texas. She received her Bachelor of Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 2006 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. Her professional areas of interest include client education, animal behavior, pathology, and surgery.  

When outside of work include not in the clinic, Dr. Gunter enjoys drawing, spending time with family and friends, training her dogs, traveling, and Kendo (a Japanese fencing martial art). Along with her husband, the Gunter household includes "Remington", a German shepherd/'coconut retriever' mix, "Sonic" a Dutch Shepherd mix, "Tiwi", a New Guinea Singing Dog, and a cat named "Odin".
